KAIRS K-12 Teachers Conference 2019 August 1

The KAIRS 2019 Teachers Conference opened on Thursday August 1 with more than 75 teachers in attendance. Speakers included Keynote Nautrie Jones and breakout speakers Darren Couch, Amanda Hadley and Laurel Nichols.

Nautrie Jones continues with a Thursday afternoon presentation, "Metacognition: The Secret to Engaging and Inspiring Students."
Botanica hosted a special exhibit during summer 2019, "Nature Connects®: Art with LEGO® Bricks." Designer Sean Kenney used 22,671 lego pieces in his Woodpecker sculpture.
The Stop Motion breakout session was a favorite among teachers.

More than 75 K-12 teachers attended the annual summer conference. KAIRS member schools receive a discount on registration fee.
KAIRS member teachers are from Catholic, Lutheran, Christian, Independent and Seventh-day Adventist schools. All teachers are invited to attend the summer teachers conference.
